About Us

Welcome to the historic ritz rehearsal studios - newly upgraded, refurbished and under new management, we’re taking rehearsal studios into the modern world.

Our studios have served the music industry for 40 years and are proud to have accommodated everyone from The Stranglers, Blur, The Clash, Led Zeppelin and Duran Duran to Take That, Kylie, Amy Winehouse, Mary J Blige and Annie Lennox.

Ritz’s secluded yet prime location is the perfect spot for any artist, however big or small. Our private compound in the residential backstreets of putney is tucked away, ensuring a peaceful visit away from the bustling streets of london. Situated within half a mile from one mainline and two underground stations, you can be sure to never get stuck for transport options.

Positioned in zone 2, you will never be too far away from central london, but there’s no need to pay congestion charge. We have a sufficient amount of parking spaces in the compound for both studios, and enough space for a 7.5 Tonne lorry to drop off & load up. Any larger vehicles can park on the main road, and we can arrange further transport to the studios.

We offer many additional services including custom iems with ultimate ears, backline hire and our newly built recording studio in west london.

Studio 1

Studio 1 is the larger room of the two here at Ritz.
SIZE: 35ft by 27ft (10.6m by 8.2m) Air Conditioning & WIFI throughout.

Studio 2 is fully equipped with mounted wall mirrors, perfect for a smaller artist or dance rehearsals.

Backline?

Where can we get Backline & P.A. Hire for outside hire?

We can provide you with all your backline needs, just get in touch with our Tech Manager on tori@ritzstudios.com who would be happy to help!

LOAD IN?

What’s the load in like to the studios?

Its really simple, we have an automatic roller shutter; which is accessible from the back of the building, load into our middle storing area and then into the relevant Studio. Both studios have access from here. Shutter entrance (H 236cm by W178cm), door width of (H197cm by 86cm) into each studio.

TOUR BUS?

Will a tour bus get up the road?

No it won't. If prearranged – you can park on Putney Bridge Rd and we can organize further transport to the studios.

STORAGE?

Do we have storage?

We have a small amount of storage here at Ritz and we can arrange long/short term storage at our main warehouse which is based in Park Royal. Please just get in touch!

PUB?

Where is the nearest pub?

There are loads of pubs around the Putney area, please just ask our Studio Manager what you fancy and they can recommend.

Where are the shops/restaurants/hotels?

TRANSPORT?

Do you provide transport/trucking gear for equipment or to venues?

We have a short wheel base transit van; which you can arrange to use in advance, just ask!
